Michael is a Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive experience in both Paediatric and Respiratory Physiotherapy after a 14 year NHS career in some of the UK’s major Trauma Centre hospitals. He founded Wiseman Physiotherapy to offer specialist, in-depth and uncapped physiotherapy treatment to patients in Kent and East Sussex.

Wiseman Physiotherapy offers an approach to your rehabilitation needs that takes into account you as a whole person and puts you at the centre of addressing the challenges you face with your health.

Biography:

Michael graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2010 with a 2:1 in Physiotherapy. After 14 years of broad-based NHS experience including work at Oxford Children’s Hospital and Guys’ and St. Thomas’ Hospitals London he set up Wiseman Physiotherapy Ltd to put his experience to work as well as to provide him the flexibility to pursue further study.

Throughout his NHS career Michael has been praised for his highly individualised patient centred approach, and in setting up Wiseman Physiotherapy Ltd. Michael wanted to ensure that this continued and was built upon.

Professional Life:

The breadth of Michael’s experience helps him to take a wider view of problems that perhaps don’t fit a typical pattern or are contributed to by Psychological and Social factors. This whole person approach is key to establishing changes and solutions that stick and address the root cause of the problems his patients present with.

Michael has a strong commitment to evidence based practice and works hard to keep up to date with current research, he is a Member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP) and enjoys finding creative, innovative and fun approaches to treating children. Michael is well served by his wide range of NHS experience and is well equipped to assess and treat the diverse range of conditions that occur in such a general specialty. Michael also has experience treating adult patients and extends this creative approach to these cases as well.
